Frequently Asked Questions
What is the booking process like?

It is very simple. Send me a message with your requirements and let me know what offer you like. When you are happy with my package, we can arrange a meeting over a cup of coffee or online if you prefer that. If there's a spark between us and you decide to book me, I'd be super excited! I will send you a contract and an invoice with payment details. Deposit is required to secure your date..

How many photos will we get from our wedding?

I put quality over the quantity. I can estimate the approximate quantity. My aim is to create a story. If the story can be told in fewer photos, there is no point in giving away an unnecessary number of photos. Please, go to my info & prices page and find out how many photos you can get from each offer.

How will we receive our photos and how long it will take?

The editing process is also important to ensure the best quality of your photos, so it can take 4-6 weeks, but you won't have to wait that long to receive a sneak-peek of 20 beautiful edited photos ready to share with your family and friends!
As a standard, you will receive a link to your online gallery to download. You can add extras to your package and get USB pen drive with your photos, buy high quality prints and album directly through online gallery shop. Products are linked to my favourite professional print lab.

What is your photography and editing style?

I do not limit myself to a specific style of photography. This is Your Day and I make the photos for you! I want to know your thoughts and what your expectations are. My alternative approach blends the candid moments of documentary photography with the beauty of editorial styles where all details shine. It means that I capture spontaneous moments that happen, and even if I guide you to pose for some stylish photos, I will make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Your photos will look like scenes from a movie. My editing style will reflect the atmosphere of your special day emphasizing natural colours and moody tones.

What if the weather is bad?

Of course we can wait for the weather to improve but we can embrace the distinctive ambiance that Scottish weather can add to your photos and capture the true essence of Scotland's landscapes. Allow the rain, wind, and mist to add a touch of drama to your shots and let the weather tell its own story. I have a rain cover and insurance to protect my equipment so no need to worry about it. In case of very bad weather the best we can do is to wait for the weather to improve or take photos at the venue.
